Our 12 Foot Christmas Tree!

Hey I found a plus to living in our townhouse. With 12 foot ceilings you can have a 12 foot Christmas tree. At least this is what my Dad informed me when he brought me this tree he cut for me. Yes, it's real! I'm a go real or go home kinda girl. Just kidding. Anyway, hours later, it was decorated and I love it. It's probably not most peoples style, but I finally like my tree and I never really have before. Anyway, here it is. My sister made me post it.

Diaper Clutches!

Hey, I need some more input. We have a booth at the Novemberfest in Logan this year and so I made some diaper clutches to sell since I wanted one for me anyway. I put a wipe container on the inside pocket so you can get your wipes directly from the diaper clutch. You just put your travel wipes in the pocket and pull through. It's handy. Anyway, I don't know if I'll ever make more, but I finally finished 13 of them. What do you think?

My Friends and I In San Francisco

This is Jade, Becky, Kara, me, and Katie in San Francisco last May. I just got this pic from Kara. We get to go back to San Francisco again in a couple weeks (this time with our husbands) for Becky's wedding. I can't wait! I'm so happy I have good friends like these.

Headbands!

Okay, I need some input. I decided to make myself go crazy and sell some headbands. They are reversible, layering headbands. I'm going to sell them at our little craft fair. I'm doing them for kids and adults. They look so cute on Riley and I love wearing them so far. It's the first headband I've ever left on for more than a couple hours since they're usually so uncomfortable. And I LOVE layering them. The one I have on in the pic is a reversible brown corduroy on one side and green and brown floral on the other that I layered with a skiny brown polka dot one. I have a lot more to make, but this is what I've got so far! Anyway, what do you think?

Yesterday my last living grandparent, my Grandma Crane, died. She just turned ninety and had been sick for a long time. We are so happy for her but will miss her tons. She was the greatest example to me and has left a huge heritage to live up to her name.

The Best of Our Family Pics

A Pirate Party!

A few days ago some of my family went to see Julie in Idaho Falls. Our kids never get to see each other for Halloween and since they were all going to be pirates, we decided that the adults would get costumes too and have a pirate party. Firts, the kids had to search for the pirate chest pinata and then they got to break it. We had fun taking all these pics. My Dad looked a lot like Captain Barbossa on Pirates of the Carribean. It was hilarious.

Up the Canyon

The other day when we were picking out a place to do our family pics we found this fun rope swing. The kids watched as Trev and I almost ate it a few times and then we went on a little hike and snapped some pics. Too bad the leaves didn't look nearly as brilliant just one week later when we did our real pics. They were gorgeous the first time we went!

Our New Playroom

Our basement is basically just a hallway and space under the stairs (other than crawl space). It's pretty much a big waste so we decided to turn it into a playroom under the stairs and in the hallway. We painted it lime green and polka dotted it. Then we got foam square flooring and cut a hole in the wall for a window. The kids love it down there. Riley and Luke helped me put on all the vinyl polka dots. We had a lot of fun making this. I'll post more pics when it's completely done.

Family Pic

Yesterday, Trevor's Mom went up the canyon by Mantua with us and took some pics. She has a great camera and knows how to make the kids smile so it turned out pretty good. This is one of the best pics. I'll post more of these later. Thanks Mitzi!
(And yes, I chopped my hair!)

Sorry, this is kind of gory. And I never thought I would remember to take pics during times like this, but while on the phone with the doctor, I snapped this pic. Luke just walked out of his room the other day with this gash on his head. Riley looked super guilty but then showed me that he tripped on the rug in his room and fell on his nightstand and cut his head open. Of all the million times he falls a day, it's the little fall that needed stitches. He was barely even crying when it happened, but getting stitches, he was hysterical. I did good until the needles came out. Then I had to sit in the corner. Luckily Trevor came home right in time and was there too. It was so sad, but today he got his stitches out and didn't even cry. We are glad that experience is over. The doctor said he could be Frankenstein for Halloween.

All stitched up

And then he was back to his old self...climbing and jumping on everything...

Luke loves to play with Riley's kitchen set. The other day he got all decked out in her chef outfit. (Don't tell Trevor)

I must take a ton of pictures because now Riley will give Luke a hug and say "Mommy... go get the camera..."

Lauren and Hallie

We got to babysit Lauren and Hallie the other day. Riley and Luke had fun showing them all their toys. They had fun showing off how they can walk...

So Sweet

Playing Dressup

Their new favorite thing to do with their milk

Saying Goodbye

Ethan and Riley were both so sad when it was time to leave Papa and Grandma Crane's house.

Grandma Crane and Luke

Flying the kite with Papa

All the kids had so much fun flying the cool airplane kite with Papa Crane.

Luke and his ball pillow

Luke eating cake

Luke absolutely loved my Mom's infamous chocolate cake with the fluffy white frosting. When I made it for him once he didn't like it this much. It must all be in the cook.
